Magic square is one of the interesting and challenging games in mathematics. The goal of this games is just put and order some given numbers into the given square. Of course, with another rules too. To make your understanding more clearly, look at the picture below.

The square above called square 3 x 3. The direction is fill each column at picture above with integers between 1 and 9 so that the sum of horizontal, vertical, and diagonal column are the same. There are no repetition numbers.

To solve this magic square you need to make “addition” square (yellow square at picture a). Than, put the number like written in picture b. Every 14th August, we celebrate Pramuka (Scouts) anniversary. This year, to celebrate that anniversary, school was organized anniversary ceremony on Basket Ball field by invited all elementary and junior high school students of Nasional KPS Balikpapan and its teachers. In a confusion condition because there are some many overlap activities of Nasional KPS Junior High School Balikpapan during August, finally class meeting to celebrate the 64th Independent Day of RI was held pretty success. From 10 competitions (relay race, 3 on 3, futsal, table tennis, scrabble, chess, photography, making of caricature, hias tumpeng, and make-up without mirror), only relay race, hias tumpeng, and make-up cannot be done. Tanpa sengaja, ketika saya mencoba membantu siswa cara menemukan nilai estimasi dari akar kuadrat dari suatu bilangan, akhirnya saya berpikir bahwa nilai ternyata tidak hanya 3,14 atau seperti yang lazim kita ketahui. Tentu Anda akan mengalami kesulitan menentukan luas atau keliling suatu lingkaran jika jari-jari atau diameter lingkaran tersebut berukuran atau dan hanya bermodalkan 3,14 atau sebagai nilai pengganti.
